We are a housing team in Rome, working for the people who send students here.
AMOE Housing started in 2020 with a handful of apartments in Prati and one idea: a study abroad program should not have to become a property manager. Since then we have housed more than a thousand students.
We answer to the program, not to the landlord.
We hold the relationships with owners so you never have to. Every apartment in the portfolio is under our management, which means one contract, one invoice and one person to call when something breaks at eleven at night.
We are not an agency listing rooms and we are not a marketplace. We keep a small portfolio and we keep it in one district, because that is what lets us inspect it properly and reach it fast.
Four commitments we can be measured on.
Inspected before, inspected after
Each unit is checked before a group arrives and again when they leave, with photos and a written report shared with the program.
One district, walked daily
Everything sits in Prati. Our staff can be at any apartment within fifteen minutes.
Answers within the working day
Program requests get a reply the same day. Student emergencies get a person on the phone straight away.
Nothing hidden in the contract
Utilities, cleaning and deposit terms are written out before you sign. No charges appear at the end of the term.
Programs, not individual renters.
Students live in our apartments and talk to us every week, but the program is our client. That is who receives the reports, who signs the agreement and whose rules we apply in the buildings.
Come and see the apartments before you commit.
We host site visits for program directors throughout the year.
